The law of the excluded middle for a language says that every sentence of the language is true or false. In other words, it says that there are no truth gaps, no sentences of the language that are not true and not false. If the future is undetermined, then some sentences about the future are neither true nor false.
I come to judge that a sentence P entails a sentence Q if whenever I suppose that P and consider Q, I believe Q.
